Solid edge Progressive Die training 

Solid Edge for Progressive Die Design is a class developed by Summit Tool Design specifically for the progressive die designer.  Using terminology familiar to the die designer, the the class will logically progress from a part model to a finished die design.  The demonstrated workflows have been developed, used  and proven to work in actual time critical progressive die design projects.

At course completion students will be well prepared to start and complete a progressive die design and other sheet metal stamping die designs. 

Who should attend - This course is specifically for the progressive die designers in your company.

Prerequisites - Potential students should have the following prior to the class:
  • Tool and Diemaking background
  • Completed Solid Edge Fundamentals or Solid Edge Assembly class
  • Capable of modeling basic parts and assemblies
  • Mechanical Design Experience
  • Windows PC Experience

Insufficient Toolmaking, Mechanical Design and Windows PC experience is very difficult to overcome in the classroom. Students who lack in experience should realize the impact it will have on their learning experience.
